Get Your Vote On Before the Curtain Drops!

If you've been sleeping on Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas this September, consider this your wake-up call, served with a side of Thai Peanut Brussels Sprouts. Hard Rock Rising, the global music competition Hard Rock International cooked up with Coca-Cola, has already run three rounds of local talent through the wringer, and the fourth and final showdown lands September 23.
Round one saw Chalmer, Jaudines, and Mimi & the Rivieras take the stage, with Mimi & the Rivieras walking away as the audience's pick. Round two raised the bar considerably: @crystalhemmers brought soulful, emotionally raw pop, @danicaruiz07 showed up with original songs and serious stage command, and @shane.hamlett delivered introspective contemporary pop. Danica Cruz took the crown. Round three got a little heavier, with @mojo.ju.ju mixing classic influences into something fresh, @subsanity_lv channeling old-school metal with modern bite, and @chem_tribe bringing seasoned musicianship and a big, confident sound. Subsanity ended up taking the fan vote.
So on September 23, those three round winners, Mimi & the Rivieras, Danica Cruz, and Subsanity, go head to head for the local title. Here's the catch worth knowing: this final round requires you to actually be there. No app-only voting from your couch this time. The audience judges performers on musicianship, fan support, vocal talent, originality, and stage presence, all in person, all live.
Whoever wins doesn't get a Vegas residency and call it a night, though. The local champion moves on to a digital global round, where a Coke Studio team led by GRAMMY-nominated producer Rob Rettberg reviews recorded performances from all 64 competing Hard Rock Cafes worldwide. The grand prize winner, announced October 5, receives a recording session at Coke Studio in Los Angeles, a $10,000 check, and a showcase performance slot at Hard Rock Live Orlando.
While you're deciding who deserves your vote, the limited-time menu running through September 30 is doing its own kind of persuading. Barbacoa Beef Queso, BBQ Pulled Beef Sliders, and a Cheesecake Dip built to derail any dinner plan are all on the table, alongside cocktails like the Last Call Dragonrita and a Spiced Yuzu Soda that works with or without the whiskey.
For a town that runs on residencies and headliners, there's something genuinely fun about catching someone right at the start of that road. Locals looking for a new reason to leave the house, visitors craving a break from the slot machines: September 23 is your night. Bring your phone for photos. Bring your appetite. Just don't bring an absentee ballot, because this vote only counts in person!
